I Could Boast

If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. (NLT) -1 Corinthians 13:3
Sometimes on paper we can do all of the right things and appear to be righteous. However, this verse talks about taking the correct actions and still be incorrect because your heart is in the wrong place. The golden rule of loving others is key. Take a minute to thoroughly examine your motives. Are you motivated out of love or self-gain?
