Sometime’s bad things happen to good people. But how do you make peace with this thought, especially when you are fighting back anger, hurt, betrayal, or loneliness? It’s important to realize God has perfect timing, even when we can’t understand it. Without placing your faith in His timing, you leave room for resentment, despair, and rebellion. When you can’t see the work God is doing through tragedy, remain faithful in knowing God’s timing is perfect.
I have found that believing this one thing, that God’s timing is perfect and that He makes everything beautiful in its time, takes away the daily pressures and stresses that so easily entangle us. It allows for you to stop and smell the roses in the midst of drama because you trust, that He who owns you, will never leave not forsake you; His Word will always come to pass; and His thoughts about you are good. When you trust that, you get the strength to smile in the midst of tears and to have not though you mourn; and to keep,your head up in the midst of situations.
Faith in God is a major ingredient in the recipe to living an abundant and victorious life.
