Every day, is a chance to learn a new lesson if you choose to look at life as half full instead of half empty.The people you meet,the situations you find yourself in;they all carry a lesson for us,if only we took the time to be in the moments.Being in the moment like when you are taking a cup of coffee,you be there,enjoying the taste and the aroma,not taking coffee while checking your email.Just be in the moment.
Self faithfulness.I have once,ok many times accused some friends of being unfaithful to themselves and i realize most of us are on a daily basis.How many times do we say we will do something,only not to do it,because it’s us?Because we are not answering to anyone else?I will go to the gym.Only i go there daily in my head but if there was someone i was to report to,by the way,that gym would become my favorite please.
We go such a long way to please others but no effort at all in pleasuring ourselves and this is very twisted if you ask me, because charity begins at home.Self faithfulness means being true to yourself and to who you are.Be loyal to your person.When you are,peer pressure will shy away from you because peer pressure gets a hold of us because we are more about pleasing the rest than ourselves.We do things we would otherwise not even dream of doing,just so at to be accepted or whatever.BE TRUE TO YOURSELF!
It helps you from living other peoples lives.Of course it helps when you know the vision of your life;like what your goals are and what you would like to achieve,but when you are true to yourself,you are able to say no to something you do not believe in with no excuse or apologies.Being true to yourself means you appreciate yourself and accept you just as you are.You realize that you are important and worth being trusted and listened to.
Being faithful to yourself,allows you to live your life and follow your dreams;to live life on your tab.And it keeps you from comparing yourself to others because you understand our paths are all different.Which is important to recognize.We all have different paths and once you know yours,be true to yourself;be faithful to you,even though no one else understands you,you will be secure in knowing that you know you are in the right track.Truth is, no one else can understand your dreams better than you so times,do not even waste your time trying to explain them to people;trying to make them understand;because then its like you are looking for their approval,which you do not need.If someone asks,share but if they starting question them,let them be.
And now I need to go home.It is 9:38pm.
