Flexibility

I am a sucker for reading…novels especially are my cup of tea. i have read two books in the past like two weeks and they have actually been more than just entertainment. I have been able to pick one, two things from them. So now, you can never be too cautious with life. You can never have it all covered up.You can never be fully armed,so much so that you are always in control. Life, is a force on its own and no, it does not follow a certain specific pattern. it meanders around;it does not follow rules that we set. With life, you can only prepare,expect the worst, hope for the best. In life, there are moments that will catch you of guard and you find yourself wondering what just hit you. To those of you who are planners like I am. Those of us who have lists of how we think things should go and end up getting so depressed if the pattern we laid out is not followed. A reminder;a rude awakening, we are not in control;we cannot control life so let’s not even dare it. It uses up so much energy only for you to end up disappointed when things do not go your way. So live life and let be. Those things you can control, please do. But do not be rigid because the day you will break, it will be a proper breakage. Let life take its course. Lists you can have but leave room for miscellaneous happenings coz as sure as the sun rises in the east, they will happen. I could say you are better off without the lists but you know what, every coin has two sides; so simply be flexible and allow room for surprises;they are like flowers that brighten up a room…Being spontaneous is another plus. Wake up one day and do something you hadn’t planned to do or thought through and see how it turns out. You will be amazed.
